Its objective is ‘to advance the education of the public in archaeology’, and this is achieved through three interconnected strands of activity.\r\n\r\nThe Historic Environment Management team maintain the regional Historic Environment Record (HER); provide Planning Services for local authorities, developers and other bodies; and undertake Heritage Management work for Welsh Government, local authorities, landowners, developers and others. \r\n\r\nThe Education and Outreach service provides a wide variety of public engagement, participation and social inclusion opportunities for a range of groups and individuals across the Clwyd-Powys region. This includes events and activities for the general public, as well as work targeted specifically at improving social outcomes and economic aspirations.\r\n\r\nThe Investigation and Research team are responsible for the delivery of archaeological projects funded by private- and public-sector bodies, including Welsh Government. This work enhances the knowledge base which supports Cadw decision-making, enables sustainable development across our region, and delivers training and educational outcomes for professionals, non-professionals and the public.\r\n\r\nThe Administration department maintains a strict control on expenditure, and ensures that the operations of the Trust are conducted in an efficient manner. Governance of the Trust is through a Board of Trustees, which normally meets four times per year. Other activities of the Trust are advised by an Ethics Committee, an Investment Committee, and the Board of Directors of the CPAT HER Charitable Trust. CPAT submits publicly-accessible annual accounts to the Charities Commission, and files returns to Companies House. From the onset, it should be acknowledged, therefore, that our Church owes a lot to the Church of Scotland from who we have drawn our historical legacy as well as administrative identity. \r\n\r\nResponding to a divine call and influenced by the love of Christ and His grace, these Scottish pioneers approached evangelism holistically. The passionate belief was that the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ would be void in the absence of a deliberate approach towards providing for people’s social needs simultaneously. This is why, besides the Bible and training of church ministers, they came to establish and operate hospitals, schools and colleges as well as providing safe water and electricity to mention but only some of the services. \r\n\r\nThe Church has over the years maintained that approach with a lot happening around propagation of the Gospel, many ministers being trained and a number of congregations and departments being established among other developmental programmes and projects. All this is meant to cater for the social-economic needs of the church’s population besides the preaching of the Good News. Established in 1967, the Association currently comprises 58 hospitals, 114 health centres and clinics, and 10 health training institutions. Membership has gone up from 25 in 1967 to 182 in 2012. The network members collectively have a staff strength of approximately 7,300. \r\n\r\nCHAG was initially founded in 1967, as a Voluntary Professional Association and subsequently registered as a Corporate Body in 1968 under the Trustees (Incorporation) Act, 1962 Act 106, the Ghana Catholic Bishops Conference and the Christian Council of Ghana being the main stakeholders in the Association. The Ghana Pentecostal Council was later admitted into membership as an Associate Member. \r\n\r\nThe governance structure of CHAG comprises three distinct layers of the Council, the Board and the Secretariat. The Board is composed of nominated representatives of the Ghana Catholic Bishops’ Conference, the Christian Council of Ghana and the Ghana Pentecostal Council. The Secretariat is responsible for managing the network and ensuring that the aims and objectives of the association and the needs of members towards contributing to the achievement of national health outcomes are met. \r\n\r\nThe uniqueness of CHAG as an organisation is the independence and autonomy of its members. This is recognised as the strength of the organisation where the diversity of its members is respected and harnessed for human centred, affordable and high quality patient care.\r\n\r\nThe Vision of CHAG is:\r\n“A healthy nation, Christ’s Healing Ministry Fulfilled”\r\n\r\nThe mission of CHAG is: \r\nTo promote the healing ministry of Christ and be a reliable partner in the Health Sector in providing the health needs of the people in Ghana in fulfilment of Christ’s mandate to go and heal the sick.\r\n \r\nThe core values of CHAG are \r\n• Christian identity and witness\r\n• Unity in Diversity\r\n• Respect for the dignity of the person\r\n• Holistic health care\r\n• Creativity and Excellence\r\n• Accountability and Transparency\r\n• Co-operation and partnership\r\n• Option for the poor and the marginalized\r\n\r\nThe objectives of CHAG are:\r\n1. To foster a closer partnership between Church-related health services and the Ministry of Health to promote health care in Ghana.\r\n2. To assist in planning and coordinating the training programmes and other medical work or services of the members of the Association.\r\n3. To assist the members of the Association with respect to the employment of staff, provision of supplies to the hospitals or other medical services maintained or supported or controlled or supervised by any member of the Association.\r\n4. To encourage and assist the members to promote the healing ministry for the benefit and the welfare of the people of Ghana.\r\n5. The Mission of the organization is “To champion, expand and actualize women’s rights”. CREAW has created a niche in championing women rights in Kenya, through the use of bold, innovative and holistic interventions for the realization of women’s rights. \r\n\r\nIn the theory of change, CREAW believes that social transformation can happen through a shifting of social norms and practices that curtail the realization of women’s rights. This is done through legislative and policy advocacy, activism, public awareness, public interest litigation and innovative research. The desired change should be evident in attitudes, knowledge, skills, levels of awareness, behavior and health at personal, family, communal and societal levels. \r\n\r\nIn CREAW’s views, change requires a catalyst. As that catalyst, CREAW sees its role as lying in: Civic engagement, mentorship, dismantling patriarchy, seeking accountability at all levels, awareness raising, working through smart networks and movement building, broadening and deepening knowledge, inclusiveness and constant innovation. CREAW’s values are based on one fundamental principle of “Love’ actualized through it’s values:- Integrity, Professionalism, Passion, Innovativeness and Synergy. CREAW’s programs are thus anchored on enthusiastic lobbying and advocacy to support the interest of the constituents who are the women and children of Kenya. These programs include; Access to Justice for disadvantaged women and children, Governance and Leadership and Sexual and Reproductive health program for women and girls.. \r\n\r\nThus, CREAW programs aim is to:-\r\n1. Create public awareness and sensitize society on women’s rights; to respect, defend and uphold women human rights as well as promote equal rights of women.\r\n2. Promote the opportunities for women in the political and educational fields as well as in industry, business and in their professions.\r\n3.
