AVINA is a Latin American organization that contributes to sustainable development in Latin America by encouraging productive alliances based on trust among social and business leaders, and by brokering consensus around shared agendas for action, with the support of people and institutions from around the world. It has several programs called Opportunities of Continental Relevance, one of which is the \"Water Access Program\" that seeks to help that 5 million people more in Latin America have access to water in the next three years. To do that, AVINA is working with hundreds of local organizations in 14 countries, called Community Water Boards, which are providing water to millions of people, utilizing democratic means of governance and decision-making. By supporting them in several ways, AVINA believes that they will be able to increase the number of people served with access to water. AVINA is also working in alliance with other international organizations such as CARE International, Water for People, Water Advocates, Global Water Partnerships, Water and Youth Movement, and AKVO, among others. \r\n ", "notes": "", "can_create_projects": false, "enforce_program_projects": false, "use_project_roles": false, "public_iati_file": true, "enforce_2fa": false, "can_become_reporting": false, "iati_prefixes": null, "primary_location": 72, "content_owner": null, "original": null, "password_policy": null, "codelist": null, "internal_org_ids": [] }, { "id": 3724, "total_budgets": [], "recipient_org_budgets": [], "region_budgets": [], "country_budgets": [], "total_expenditures": [], "documents": [], "locations": [ { "id": 5309, "latitude": 27.717515, "longitude": 85.328739, "city": "Kathmandu", "state": "Bagmati", "address_1": "288 Gairidhara Marga, Garidhara", "address_2": "", "postcode": "44660", "iati_country": "NP", "country": 9, "location_target": 3724 } ], "logo": "https://storage.googleapis.com/akvo-rsr-production-media-files/cache/c1/d7/c1d7f1900c3d16f5e2585628da118836.jpg", "latitude": "27.717515", "longitude": "85.328739", "city": "Kathmandu", "current_user_permissions": { "can_create_iati_export": false, "can_edit_iati_export": false }, "created_at": "2016-09-07T09:43:53.677709+02:00", "last_modified_at": "2017-01-20T10:49:15.739009+01:00", "name": "RRN", "long_name": "Rural Reconstruction Nepal", "language": "en", "organisation_type": null, "currency": "NPR", "new_organisation_type": 22, "iati_org_id": null, "url": "http://www.rrn.org.np/", "facebook": "", "twitter": "", "linkedin": "", "phone": "+977-014004976", "mobile": "+977-9851019318", "fax": "", "contact_person": "Ratna Karki", "contact_email": "ratna@rrn.org.np", "description": "Started as a humble initiative in 1989 by graduates of the Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science (IAAS) in Chitwan, Rural Reconstruction Nepal (RRN) has now significantly expanded to become one of the largest, fastest growing and respected Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) in Nepal. Working among underprivileged communities of rural Nepal, RRN has been implementing integrated community development programmes and projects at the grassroots level and policy advocacy, lobbying and networking at local, national, and international levels.\r\n\r\nRRN embraces a two-pronged approach for its development intervention: (i) Working with peasant people by implementing integrated community development projects and action-oriented research focusing on the poorest and most vulnerable people/groups in rural areas and (ii) Policy research, advocacy, campaign and lobbying at the local, national, and international levels on the root causes of poverty; the problems of the resource poor; and social, economic, and cultural rights; and the right to development and environmental degradation.\r\n\r\nRRN is the only national NGO with extended capacity and development outreach that has successfully implemented various result-oriented, rights-based, integrated community development initiatives addressing the frustrated expectations of the poor, marginalised, vulnerable and conflict affected people. RRN has a proven track record of its engagement for economic, social and cultural rights and right to development by implementing pro-people development programmes, facilitating to exercise the community owned and managed integrated approaches, especially in the conflict sensitive societies.\r\n\r\nAll development programmes of RRN focus on the fourfold approach of Rural Reconstruction as the foundation upon which its programme and project activities are based on:\r\n• Education: to combat illiteracy and ignorance and provide exposure to the outside world\r\n• Sustainable livelihoods: to fight poverty and hunger\r\n• Health: to prevent disease and promote rights to health\r\n• Self-Government: to overcome civic inertia through institutional development leading to self-reliance\r\n\r\nSince 1997, RRN has enjoyed the Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations and is also accredited to the Global Environment Facility (GEF). Currently, it is hosting the Secretariat of Right to Food Network, Secretariat of the South Asia Alliance for Poverty Eradication (SAAPE) – a South Asia regional alliance of mass based civil society organisations and individuals and the International Secretariat of LDC Watch. They represent several of RRN’s civil society alliances with which RRN is associated to fight against poverty and hunger and for the realization of human rights, social justice, democracy and peace. At National level, RRN is being actively engaged in policy lobby and advocacy campaigns through Right to Food Network (RtF) , Children as Zone of Peace and Child protection (CZOPP), Anti-trafficking Alliance for Women and Children in Nepal (AATWIN), Civil Society Alliance for Nutrtion in Nepal (CSANN) and Disaster Preparedness Network(DPNet) for promoting disaster resilient communities through building and reconstructing the earthquake and disaster resilient infrastructures in its programme and projects. \r\n\r\nOver the past 24 years, RRN has been promoting democratic participation and inclusive self-government, enhancing empowerment of and ownership by the local communities. As one of the vital components of its programmes, RRN encourages and facilitates people to build their own organizations and institutions for their own development. Such people’s groups form the building blocks for bottom up organizational development and promote genuine participation in the development process. Adhering to stated purpose, RRN has established and strengthened thousands of Community Based Organiztions (CBOs) such as Citizen Awareness Centers (CACs), Peace Promotion Centers (PPCs), Users Group, People’s Forum and Community Learning Centers (CLCs).", "notes": "", "can_create_projects": false, "enforce_program_projects": false, "use_project_roles": false, "public_iati_file": true, "enforce_2fa": false, "can_become_reporting": false, "iati_prefixes": null, "primary_location": 5309, "content_owner": null, "original": null, "password_policy": null, "codelist": null, "internal_org_ids": [] }, { "id": 2257, "total_budgets": [], "recipient_org_budgets": [], "region_budgets": [], "country_budgets": [], "total_expenditures": [], "documents": [], "locations": [ { "id": 2084, "latitude": -8.674181, "longitude": 115.226302, "city": "Denpasar", "state": "Bali", "address_1": "Jalan Tukad Jinah 27A", "address_2": "Renon ", "postcode": "80226", "iati_country": "ID", "country": 55, "location_target": 2257 } ], "logo": "https://storage.googleapis.com/akvo-rsr-production-media-files/cache/d7/a0/d7a0b666d2da38e0ab38aa697eeb102a.jpg", "latitude": "-8.674181", "longitude": "115.226302", "city": "Denpasar", "current_user_permissions": { "can_create_iati_export": false, "can_edit_iati_export": false }, "created_at": "2014-09-12T11:55:13+02:00", "last_modified_at": "2014-09-12T11:57:20+02:00", "name": "One dollar for music", "long_name": "One dollar for music", "language": "en", "organisation_type": "N", "currency": "EUR", "new_organisation_type": 22, "iati_org_id": null, "url": "http://onedollargb.massa.netivity.nl/home/1131/", "facebook": "", "twitter": "", "linkedin": "", "phone": "+62 361 26 50 37", "mobile": "+62 8133 757 55 77", "fax": "", "contact_person": "", "contact_email": "raoul@onedollarformusic.com", "description": "Our objective is the introduction of a sustainable infrastructure for creative development in the field of music, empowering the cultural identity and the improvement of future chances for young musical talent.\r\n\r\nOur mission is to invest in sustainable creativity.\r\n\r\nOur vision is to ensure that young people have access to professional coaching and facilities in music, with ‘own creations’ as the starting point and where no requirements are made in the style of music through which the young people want to express themselves.", "notes": "", "can_create_projects": false, "enforce_program_projects": false, "use_project_roles": false, "public_iati_file": true, "enforce_2fa": false, "can_become_reporting": false, "iati_prefixes": null, "primary_location": 2084, "content_owner": null, "original": null, "password_policy": null, "codelist": null, "internal_org_ids": [] }, { "id": 2324, "total_budgets": [], "recipient_org_budgets": [], "region_budgets": [], "country_budgets": [], "total_expenditures": [], "documents": [], "locations": [ { "id": 2247, "latitude": -1.938632, "longitude": 30.062191, "city": "Kigali", "state": "", "address_1": "Muhima", "address_2": "", "postcode": "", "iati_country": "RW", "country": 37, "location_target": 2324 } ], "logo": "https://storage.googleapis.com/akvo-rsr-production-media-files/cache/07/4b/074bbc817cba32a0053613f7982fb162.jpg", "latitude": "-1.938632", "longitude": "30.062191", "city": "Kigali", "current_user_permissions": { "can_create_iati_export": false, "can_edit_iati_export": false }, "created_at": "2014-10-03T11:55:21+02:00", "last_modified_at": "2015-06-03T11:06:32.258194+02:00", "name": "WakaWaka Rwanda", "long_name": "WakaWaka Rwanda Ltd.", "language": "en", "organisation_type": "C", "currency": "EUR", "new_organisation_type": 70, "iati_org_id": "103192387", "url": "http://nl.wakawakafoundation.org/", "facebook": "", "twitter": "", "linkedin": "", "phone": "", "mobile": "", "fax": "", "contact_person": "Raouf Saidi ", "contact_email": "raouf@waka-waka.com", "description": "WakaWaka makes the world's most efficient solar powered lights and chargers.\r\nWakaWaka will enter the Rwandan solar market this fall to pilot a new pay-as-you-go energy service, the Virtual Grid. In our work we stress the interlinkage between governance, democracy, gender equality and women’s rights. \r\n\r\nOur programs and activities are designed from a rights based perspective. We aim at increasing accountability of duty bearers through advocating and building capacity for participatory policy monitoring; as well as setting up accountability mechanisms with other civil society groups. \r\nAt the same time we work on building voice of the rights holders, through capacity building and public awareness; and strengthening civil society in Suriname. By creating spaces for dialogue we bring right holders and duty bearers together- different stakeholders building towards a common agenda at a common table, through processes of dialogue, capacity building and advocacy.\r\nThe specific strategy we employ translates into our engagement in almost all sectors and thematic areas concerning all aspects of human rights and sustainable development. Our thematic engagements also depend on our partners need for our assistance.\r\nProjekta also serves as main coordinator of NGO networks in Suriname, recognized by both national government agencies, and international community as primary contact and source of information for engagement with NGO’s and civil society.", "notes": "", "can_create_projects": false, "enforce_program_projects": false, "use_project_roles": false, "public_iati_file": true, "enforce_2fa": false, "can_become_reporting": false, "iati_prefixes": null, "primary_location": 1649, "content_owner": null, "original": null, "password_policy": null, "codelist": null, "internal_org_ids": [] }, { "id": 6394, "total_budgets": [], "recipient_org_budgets": [], "region_budgets": [], "country_budgets": [], "total_expenditures": [], "documents": [], "locations": [ { "id": 7397, "latitude": 0.3475964, "longitude": 32.5825197, "city": "Kampala", "state": "", "address_1": "", "address_2": "", "postcode": "", "iati_country": "", "country": null, "location_target": 6394 } ], "logo": null, "latitude": "0.3475964", "longitude": "32.5825197", "city": "Kampala", "current_user_permissions": { "can_create_iati_export": false, "can_edit_iati_export": false }, "created_at": "2023-07-26T06:01:30.110047+02:00", "last_modified_at": "2023-07-26T08:01:30.137079+02:00", "name": "Uganda Biodiversity Fund", "long_name": "Uganda Biodiversity Trust Fund", "language": "en", "organisation_type": null, "currency": "EUR", "new_organisation_type": 22, "iati_org_id": null, "url": "", "facebook": "", "twitter": "", "linkedin": "", "phone": "", "mobile": "", "fax": "", "contact_person": "Levand Turyomurugyendo", "contact_email": "projects@ugandabiodiversityfund.org", "description": "", "notes": "", "can_create_projects": false, "enforce_program_projects": false, "use_project_roles": false, "public_iati_file": true, "enforce_2fa": false, "can_become_reporting": false, "iati_prefixes": null, "primary_location": 7397, "content_owner": null, "original": null, "password_policy": null, "codelist": null, "internal_org_ids": [] }, { "id": 1190, "total_budgets": [], "recipient_org_budgets": [], "region_budgets": [], "country_budgets": [], "total_expenditures": [], "documents": [], "locations": [ { "id": 1073, "latitude": 29.542948, "longitude": 82.157765, "city": "Gamgadhi, Mugu", "state": "", "address_1": "PO Box No. 5, Pokhara", "address_2": "", "postcode": "", "iati_country": "NP", "country": 9, "location_target": 1190 } ], "logo": "https://storage.googleapis.com/akvo-rsr-production-media-files/cache/64/39/64396780640972c813bb3089b73e451e.jpg", "latitude": "29.542948", "longitude": "82.157765", "city": "Gamgadhi, Mugu", "current_user_permissions": { "can_create_iati_export": false, "can_edit_iati_export": false }, "created_at": "2013-06-04T13:33:47+02:00", "last_modified_at": "2015-02-26T13:56:56.227632+01:00", "name": "INF Nepal Mugu Programme", "long_name": "International Nepal Fellowship Nepal, Mugu Programme", "language": "en", "organisation_type": "N", "currency": "EUR", "new_organisation_type": 22, "iati_org_id": null, "url": "http://www.inf.org/", "facebook": "", "twitter": "", "linkedin": "", "phone": "+977-81-460038", "mobile": "+977-9758900126", "fax": "+977-81-460038", "contact_person": "Rajendra Bahadur Sunar", "contact_email": "programme.manager@mugu.nepal.inf.org", "description": "INF Nepal is a Nepali Christian non-government organisation which exists to serve the people of Western Nepal – particularly the disadvantaged, marginalised and vulnerable – by demonstrating God’s love and concern, and restoring relationships with God, others and creation\r\n\r\nINF Nepal works to bring sustainable improvement in the health and development of individuals and communities, primarily through direct implementation but also through partnerships with government and community organisations, including churches.\r\n\r\nINF Nepal is registered in District Administration Office, Kaski and affiliated with Social Welfare Council of Nepal Government.
