In our work we stress the interlinkage between governance, democracy, gender equality and women’s rights. \r\n\r\nOur programs and activities are designed from a rights based perspective. We aim at increasing accountability of duty bearers through advocating and building capacity for participatory policy monitoring; as well as setting up accountability mechanisms with other civil society groups. \r\nAt the same time we work on building voice of the rights holders, through capacity building and public awareness; and strengthening civil society in Suriname. By creating spaces for dialogue we bring right holders and duty bearers together- different stakeholders building towards a common agenda at a common table, through processes of dialogue, capacity building and advocacy.\r\nThe specific strategy we employ translates into our engagement in almost all sectors and thematic areas concerning all aspects of human rights and sustainable development. Our thematic engagements also depend on our partners need for our assistance.\r\nProjekta also serves as main coordinator of NGO networks in Suriname, recognized by both national government agencies, and international community as primary contact and source of information for engagement with NGO’s and civil society.","notes":"","can_create_projects":false,"enforce_program_projects":false,"use_project_roles":false,"public_iati_file":true,"enforce_2fa":false,"can_become_reporting":false,"iati_prefixes":null,"primary_location":1649,"content_owner":null,"original":null,"password_policy":null,"codelist":null,"internal_org_ids":[]},{"id":2951,"total_budgets":[],"recipient_org_budgets":[],"region_budgets":[],"country_budgets":[],"total_expenditures":[],"documents":[],"locations":[{"id":4886,"latitude":5.830876,"longitude":-55.158746,"city":"Paramaribo","state":"Paramaribo","address_1":"Henck Aaronstraat 8","address_2":"","postcode":"","iati_country":"SR","country":100,"location_target":2951}],"logo":"https://storage.googleapis.com/akvo-rsr-production-media-files/cache/52/10/52105cffe5c66a2168d7f84256e7b7e8.jpg","latitude":"5.830876","longitude":"-55.158746","city":"Paramaribo","current_user_permissions":{"can_create_iati_export":false,"can_edit_iati_export":false},"created_at":"2015-07-28T12:03:16.592721+02:00","last_modified_at":"2015-07-28T16:56:38.391156+02:00","name":"Foreign Affairs Surinam","long_name":"Ministry of Foreign Affairs Surinam","language":"en","organisation_type":"G","currency":"EUR","new_organisation_type":10,"iati_org_id":null,"url":"http://www.gov.sr/ministerie-van-buza.aspx","facebook":"","twitter":"","linkedin":"","phone":"(597) 471756/471209","mobile":"","fax":"410411","contact_person":"Winston Lackin","contact_email":"sec.minister@foreignaffairs.gov.sr","description":"The policy of the Department focuses on the following areas:\r\n\r\n• Borderland Politics\r\n• Regional Integration\r\n• Bilateral relations\r\n• Multilateral relations\r\n• Migration and Movement of Persons\r\n• Surinamese diaspora\r\n• Development and International Trade\r\n• Development diplomacy\r\n• National High Level dialogue","notes":"","can_create_projects":false,"enforce_program_projects":false,"use_project_roles":false,"public_iati_file":true,"enforce_2fa":false,"can_become_reporting":false,"iati_prefixes":null,"primary_location":4886,"content_owner":360,"original":null,"password_policy":null,"codelist":null,"internal_org_ids":[]},{"id":1991,"total_budgets":[],"recipient_org_budgets":[],"region_budgets":[],"country_budgets":[],"total_expenditures":[],"documents":[],"locations":[{"id":1815,"latitude":5.829896,"longitude":-55.151481,"city":"Paramaribo","state":"","address_1":"Van Roseveltkade 5","address_2":"","postcode":"","iati_country":"SR","country":100,"location_target":1991}],"logo":"https://storage.googleapis.com/akvo-rsr-production-media-files/cache/fd/1c/fd1c6fb3651db7a0600c0fd5c2d87d39.jpg","latitude":"5.829896","longitude":"-55.151481","city":"Paramaribo","current_user_permissions":{"can_create_iati_export":false,"can_edit_iati_export":false},"created_at":"2014-03-14T15:48:09+01:00","last_modified_at":"2014-03-14T15:48:24+01:00","name":"Dutch Embassy Suriname","long_name":"Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Paramaribo","language":"en","organisation_type":"G","currency":"EUR","new_organisation_type":10,"iati_org_id":null,"url":"http://suriname.nlambassade.org/","facebook":"","twitter":"","linkedin":"","phone":"+597477211","mobile":"","fax":"+597477792","contact_person":"","contact_email":"prm@minbuza.nl","description":"The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Paramaribo, Suriname is the Dutch diplomatic office. Then in 1991, through a nationally competitive process, it became a Special Research of the Australian Research Council. \r\n\r\nAs one of only two federally-funded special research centres on Asia in Australia, its brief was to enhance Australia’s understanding of its Asian environments by providing analysis of social, political, cultural, and economic change in East and Southeast Asia. \r\n\r\nThe Asia Research Centre develops several strategies to maintain its role as an internationally recognized leader in research on contemporary Asia. In line with this, key projects in 2000 examined globalization as well as national and local systems of governance, and cross-border policy issues including human impact of animal diseases, environmentally sustainable settlements and reverse migration. \r\n\r\nThe Centre was reconstituted in 2002 as a divisional centre at Murdoch University. Since then its objectives have been to: produce high quality academic research publications for international and domestic audiences; foster the development of high research graduates; and contribute constructively to public policy debate and public understanding on various issues concerning Asia. \r\n","notes":"","can_create_projects":false,"enforce_program_projects":false,"use_project_roles":false,"public_iati_file":true,"enforce_2fa":false,"can_become_reporting":false,"iati_prefixes":null,"primary_location":747,"content_owner":null,"original":null,"password_policy":null,"codelist":null,"internal_org_ids":[]},{"id":2496,"total_budgets":[],"recipient_org_budgets":[],"region_budgets":[],"country_budgets":[],"total_expenditures":[],"documents":[],"locations":[{"id":2681,"latitude":-6.244665,"longitude":106.804057,"city":"","state":"Jakarta Selatan 12160 ","address_1":"Wisma Iskandarsyah A-10 Suite 3&4","address_2":"Jl.
