transformed and Just global society”. The Mission of the organization is “To champion, expand and actualize women’s rights”. CREAW has created a niche in championing women rights in Kenya, through the use of bold, innovative and holistic interventions for the realization of women’s rights. \r\n\r\nIn the theory of change, CREAW believes that social transformation can happen through a shifting of social norms and practices that curtail the realization of women’s rights. This is done through legislative and policy advocacy, activism, public awareness, public interest litigation and innovative research. The desired change should be evident in attitudes, knowledge, skills, levels of awareness, behavior and health at personal, family, communal and societal levels. \r\n\r\nIn CREAW’s views, change requires a catalyst. As that catalyst, CREAW sees its role as lying in: Civic engagement, mentorship, dismantling patriarchy, seeking accountability at all levels, awareness raising, working through smart networks and movement building, broadening and deepening knowledge, inclusiveness and constant innovation. CREAW’s values are based on one fundamental principle of “Love’ actualized through it’s values:- Integrity, Professionalism, Passion, Innovativeness and Synergy. CREAW’s programs are thus anchored on enthusiastic lobbying and advocacy to support the interest of the constituents who are the women and children of Kenya. These programs include; Access to Justice for disadvantaged women and children, Governance and Leadership and Sexual and Reproductive health program for women and girls.. \r\n\r\nThus, CREAW programs aim is to:-\r\n1. Create public awareness and sensitize society on women’s rights; to respect, defend and uphold women human rights as well as promote equal rights of women.\r\n2. Promote the opportunities for women in the political and educational fields as well as in industry, business and in their professions.\r\n3. Generate new knowledge through innovative research and to reform policy and debate on women human rights1\r\n4. The membership is drawn from civil society organizations that are working to improve water resource management and increase efficiency in service delivery in water and sanitation services. \r\n\r\nBroadly, KEWASNET provides a linkage between service providers and consumers by facilitating partnerships between policy makers and stakeholders and encouraging equitable participation by all parties in governance and decision-making mechanisms. \r\nOrganizational identity \r\nKEWASNET is registered as a non-governmental voluntary, non-partisan and non-profit trust under the Kenyan Trustees Act. Nationwide recruitment of member civil society organizations is ongoing so as to continuously increase citizen participation in the management of Kenya’s water and sanitation services. \r\n\r\nThe participation of civil society organizations in all-important decision-making about management of water resources is legitimized in the Water Act 2002. In keeping with the main principles outlined in the Water Act2002, KEWASNET seeks broader participation in the monitoring and evaluation of policy implementation and in all areas related to the management of water resources and services. \r\n\r\nThis is to ensure that the development of water resources and access to water services is socially acceptable to different citizen groups, especially marginalized communities. A related aim is to ensure that the supply of water to the poor is achieved through government and its agencies, at acceptable levels, and in compliance with the provisions of the Water Act 2002.", "notes": "", "can_create_projects": false, "enforce_program_projects": false, "use_project_roles": false, "public_iati_file": true, "enforce_2fa": false, "can_become_reporting": false, "iati_prefixes": null, "primary_location": 337, "content_owner": null, "original": null, "password_policy": null, "codelist": null, "internal_org_ids": [] }, { "id": 4130, "total_budgets": [], "recipient_org_budgets": [], "region_budgets": [], "country_budgets": [], "total_expenditures": [], "documents": [], "locations": [ { "id": 5677, "latitude": -15.387526, "longitude": 28.322817, "city": "Lusaka", "state": "Lusaka", "address_1": "", "address_2": "", "postcode": "", "iati_country": "ZM", "country": 25, "location_target": 4130 }, { "id": 5678, "latitude": -15.387526, "longitude": 28.322817, "city": "Lusaka", "state": "Lusaka", "address_1": "", "address_2": "", "postcode": "", "iati_country": "ZM", "country": 25, "location_target": 4130 } ], "logo": "https://storage.googleapis.com/akvo-rsr-production-media-files/cache/4c/bc/4cbcf6317593d3d7010a109f45366fc9.jpg", "latitude": "-15.387526", "longitude": "28.322817", "city": "Lusaka", "current_user_permissions": { "can_create_iati_export": false, "can_edit_iati_export": false }, "created_at": "2017-03-28T10:37:28.640263+02:00", "last_modified_at": "2017-06-13T12:57:25.160472+02:00", "name": "ZARI", "long_name": "Zambia Agriculture Research Institute", "language": "en", "organisation_type": null, "currency": "EUR", "new_organisation_type": 22, "iati_org_id": null, "url": "http://www.agriculture.gov.zm/", "facebook": "", "twitter": "", "linkedin": "", "phone": "", "mobile": "", "fax": "", "contact_person": "", "contact_email": "", "description": "", "notes": "", "can_create_projects": true, "enforce_program_projects": false, "use_project_roles": false, "public_iati_file": false, "enforce_2fa": false, "can_become_reporting": false, "iati_prefixes": null, "primary_location": 5677, "content_owner": null, "original": null, "password_policy": null, "codelist": null, "internal_org_ids": [] }, { "id": 4132, "total_budgets": [ { "id": 11, "budget_lines": [], "currency": "XOF", "value": 177210000000.0, "value_date": "2017-01-01", "period_start": "2017-01-01", "period_end": "2017-12-31", "status": "2", "organisation": 4132 } ], "recipient_org_budgets": [], "region_budgets": [], "country_budgets": [], "total_expenditures": [], "documents": [ { "id": 8, "categories": [ { "id": 5, "category": "A11", "document": 8 } ], "countries": [], "url": "", "document": "https://storage.googleapis.com/akvo-rsr-production-media-files/db/org/4132/document/28591_PEA_Transition_AccordFin_RSG0122710.pdf", "format": "application/pdf", "title": "Le contrat qui marque l'engagement entre le Ministère néerlandais du commerce et le Bénin", "title_language": "fr", "language": "fr", "document_date": "2017-09-16", "organisation": 4132 } ], "locations": [ { "id": 5515, "latitude": 6.370293, "longitude": 2.391236, "city": "Cotonou", "state": "", "address_1": "", "address_2": "", "postcode": "", "iati_country": "BJ", "country": 81, "location_target": 4132 } ], "logo": "https://storage.googleapis.com/akvo-rsr-production-media-files/cache/33/a2/33a253e7f644bf51106a96a847449a6e.jpg", "latitude": "6.370293", "longitude": "2.391236", "city": "Cotonou", "current_user_permissions": { "can_create_iati_export": false, "can_edit_iati_export": false }, "created_at": "2017-03-28T14:41:43.144501+02:00", "last_modified_at": "2017-04-04T14:05:12.654385+02:00", "name": "Ministère de l'Economie et des Finance", "long_name": "Ministère de l'Economie et des Finances du Benin", "language": "fr", "organisation_type": null, "currency": "XOF", "new_organisation_type": 10, "iati_org_id": "XM-DAC-236", "url": "http://www.caabenin.net/", "facebook": "", "twitter": "", "linkedin": "", "phone": "", "mobile": "", "fax": "", "contact_person": "Séréki OUMOROU", "contact_email": "alindahoo@yahoo.fr", "description": "La CAA est établissement public national doté de personnalité morale et d'une autonomie financière sous la tutelle du Ministère de l'Economie des Finances. It has been in existence since year 2000 and has been working to contribute towards the progress of Kenya through the development of it's most important resource – Kenyan Citizens. Uraia began as the National Civic Education Programme (NCEP) when a formal partnership was struck between 70 Kenyan indigenous civil society organisations (CSOs) – who became implementing partners (IPs) – and a group of development partners who undertook a joint funding mechanisms of the Programme.\n\nNCEP was implemented between August 2000 and october 2010 in two phases after which Uraia converted into a Trust. The Trust successfully implemented its first strategic plan that ran from 2011 to 2015. Under this strategic plan Uraia implemented two programmes namely Uchaguzi Bora and Rooting Democrancy in Kenya through an informed citizenry. The Uchaguzi Bora programme goal was to contribute to democratic transformation processes in Kenya, leading to improved governance and nationhood in line with the promises and values of the 2010 Constitution while the Rooting Democracy programme was aimed at contributing towards promoting, securing and defending constitutionalism in Kenya for improved democracy and realization of a just and equitable society. \n\nUraia Trust is currently implementing activities under its second strategic plan running from 2016 to 2020. Uraia's vision is to is attain an informed, empowered and democratic nation. Its is mission is to provide quality civic education and empower kenyans to exercise their civic duty inorder to realize their constitutional aspirations. This will be achieved by programmes focusing on four key focus areas as follows;\n1. Entrenching constitutionalism\n2. Promoting free and fair elections\n3. Addressing the historical, political marginalization of women, youth, persons with disabilities, marginalized and minority groups\n4.
