The profit made from these plantations will be used to set up and support Educational Resource Centers in several districts of Sierra Leone.\r\n\r\nThe center would offer educational services to children who have successfully entered the junior secondary schools and the youths who were left out of school. The centers would also offer continued education services to those who dropped out of the educational system.",

"description": "The Silentworld Foundation was founded with the purpose of supporting maritime archaeology in Australia, especially relative to pre-colonial and early colonial history.\r\n\r\nAustralia has an extremely rich maritime history and yet despite the tremendous efforts over the years of many institutions throughout Australia, we still know surprisingly little about the wrecking of many historically important vessels known to have been lost in or near Australia. There also remains a great deal to be discovered about early seafarers' contacts with Australia, from Macassar traders and the explorers from Spain, The Netherlands, Britain, France and other nations, through to eventual colonisation with the arrival of the first fleet in 1788. The reefs and shoals that surround our coastline are literally dotted with wrecks, more than some 6,000 by some counts, and yet only a small percentage of these have ever been found, identified, researched and properly documented.",

The way the organisation works is that the ownership of the project is as much as possible in the hands of the local population. Most of all Source Connection wants to facilitate the initiatives of those who wants to improve the quality of life for themselves and for their community. As much as possible we want to stay close to \"the source\", that means that we want to involve all knowledge, skills, materials, energy etc that is already there and the we only want to \"add value\" when needed. Most of the time our activities are focused on projects like starting up new small businesses or community based tourism. In some cases we also faciltate and support projects for clean drinking water, sanitation and irrigation/farming, when lack of those conditions are a barrier for the plans of the local population.",

But unfortunately, disasters caused by human interventions and natural calamities have caused severe damages to the environment, ecology, and biodiversity of the region. Thus human lives and livelihoods have become vulnerable.\r\nIt was in such a situation that in 1999 a group of young energetic and socially committed enthusiasts got together and formed ‘AOSED-An Organization for Socio-Economic Development’ for conserving environment, ecology and biodiversity and ensuring people's right of access to natural resource towards alleviation of poverty.\r\n\r\nMission \r\nConserve environment, ecology and biodiversity. Uphold people's rights of access to common and natural resources towards alleviation of poverty, upholding human rights and good governance.\r\n\r\nVision\r\nDevelop a just, prosperous and environment-friendly Society in which there will be no discrimination whatsoever.",

"description": "The Spanish National Research Council (CSIC, founded in 1939) is the largest public institution dedicated to research in Spain and the third largest in Europe (it employs more than 14,000 persons devoted to scientific research in the main fields of knowledge). Belonging to the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness through the Secretary of State for Research, Development and Innovation, its main objective is to develop and promote research that will help bring about scientific and technological progress, and it is prepared to collaborate with Spanish and foreign entities in order to achieve this aim.\r\nThe Institute of Heritage Sciences (Incipit) was created by the CSIC in January 2010 by resolution of its Board of Trustees. Felipe Criado-Boado, as Research Professor of CSIC, is its director. The Incipit has, in fact, a 20-year history and a complex institutional evolution. It started in 1991 as a Research Group devoted to Landscape Archaeology, in the University of Santiago de Compostela. Since 2001 joined the Spanish National Research Council as Landscape Archaeology Laboratory and within the Institute of Galician Studies “Padre Sarmiento”. In 2009, after the conception of a scientific project focused on the interdisciplinary study of heritage, the group is reformulated as Heritage Laboratory (LaPa) to approach and address the problem of how heritage is constituted and valued from a broader and deeply interdisciplinar research project. Finally, in year 2010, it was incorporated into a new research institute of CSIC created at that point and settled in Santiago de Compostela.\r\nFor more information about Incipit : link to Incipit partner page on NEARCH website",

They were instrumental in the establishment of institutions such as the Lady Sri Ram College, Shri Ram College of Commerce, The Shri Ram Research Institute, The Anglo Sanskrit School and many others.\n\nIn keeping up with this legacy, the SRF Foundation setup the well known The Shri Ram Schools in Gurgaon and New Delhi in 1988, as well as SRF Vidyalaya in 1992 in Chennai. In addition, the Foundation is intimately connected with the running of the well-known Lady Shri Ram College for Women. It currently runs various programs to improve the quality of education in India.",

It achieves this through the combined efforts of both staff and volunteers. The organisation consists of two archaeologists and a board of six members. Our building is located on Lampeweg. Here, we house students and volunteers for our fieldschools, process finds, store equipment, and write our reports. Anyone who is interested in the archaeology and history of the Caribbean's 'Historic Gem' can visit us; we are always happy to introduce people to the fascinating past of our beautiful island.",
