Op 6 maart 2009 ontving CDN het Memorandum of Understanding, waarmee de organisatie in samenwerking met de overheid van Myanmar, noodhulp kon leveren aan de bevolking. CDN heeft voedselpakketten en landbouwgereedschappen gedistribueerd onder de mensen in de Ayeyarwady Divisie. Zo krijgen mensen weer de mogelijkheden in handen om in hun eigen levensonderhoud te voorzien. Daarnaast zijn met zout water vervuilde waterbassins schoongemaakt. Because of this setting, we are very flexible and can anticipate directly on the needs of our clients, offering high quality and expertise while keeping the lines short, communication easy and prices competitive. Moreover, since part of our team has ample site experience on several projects we are capable to merge theoretical and practical aspects in our engineering studies and deliverables.\r\n\r\nDue to the setting of CDR the client is in direct communication with the project consultant, we offer a great flexibility, complex business management is avoided and overhead is minimized. Through the junior sports clubs created, parents came together to form savings associations. Through this savings scheme parents are able to save money for thier children’s school fees, as the organisation boosts their savings through matching funds. Currently we have turnover of about USD 100 per month. In the first year of operating this fund (2012) CREATA was able to fully sponsor 3 children in high school. We are however hoping that this turnover is going to increase and pay for more students. CREATA has establishing 50 sports clubs and about 5 active parents associations. \r\n\r\nIn our Peace and Governance program, CREATA with the funding of IFP Kenya has recently carried out a baseline survey of the knowledge gaps in the communities about the new constitutions and is currently rolling out community training, awareness and forums on the contents of the new constitution.
