It is currently a unit of the Water and Environment Division of the Ministry of Urban Development.\r\n\r\nIn the last decades Nepal has achieved remarkable progress in water supply coverage and service delivery, while the last ten years has seen an inspiring uptake of sanitation in the country, leading to a rapid increase in coverage. The Nepal census of 2011 measured safe water supply coverage as 85% and sanitation as 61% (status as of June 2011, National Population and Housing Census, Central Bureau of Statistics, November 2012).\r\n\r\nOn the positive side this means that Nepal has already achieved the MDG goals for water supply and sanitation. However, the quality of service and the overall functionality of water supply systems does not meet the standards set by the Government of Nepal. To correct this situation and work towards a cohesive, harmonized water supply, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) sector, the Government of Nepal in 2008 indicated its intent to move to a sector-wide approach (SWAp). The SWAp is a joint effort of all Government agencies, Development Partners, CSOs and other stakeholders working in WASH. It is coordinated by the Sector Stakeholder Group (SSG).", "notes": "", "can_create_projects": false, "enforce_program_projects": false, "use_project_roles": false, "public_iati_file": true, "enforce_2fa": false, "can_become_reporting": false, "iati_prefixes": null, "primary_location": 2048, "content_owner": null, "original": null, "password_policy": null, "codelist": null, "internal_org_ids": [] }, { "id": 2919, "total_budgets": [], "recipient_org_budgets": [], "region_budgets": [], "country_budgets": [], "total_expenditures": [], "documents": [], "locations": [ { "id": 4854, "latitude": 32.776664, "longitude": -96.796988, "city": "Dallas", "state": "Texas", "address_1": "7500 W.
