We also have a research arm that takes up action researches and other field based trials to check out innovations and their potential to positively influence policy. Our ideology revolves around building sustainable models within the social sector that deliver critical services efficiently and equitably to underserved communities.\r\n\r\nIt is our belief that in a globalised world for any social activity to be effective the involvement and contribution of all stakeholders direct or indirect plays an important role in making it responsive, responsible and sustainable for the communities in question. In this effort we work together with governments, communities, corporates and civil society institutions to channelise their collective resources – financial, technical and human – into creating new approaches to solve widespread poverty-related issues across the country. The aim is to make the most efficient and equitable use of every rupee spent in the sector.\r\n\r\nThis has been our journey since 1998 from when these public-private partnerships have helped us create sustainable, affordable solutions to long-pending development problems of the country: ensuring the rights of a child , sustainable livelihood opportunities for the underserved and safe drinking water & sanitation to rural households and so on.\r\n\r\nNaandi with a team of 300 + employees and hundreds of community workers is presently working in nine states: Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Orissa, Nagaland, Punjab, Haryana and Maharashtra touching the lives of more than 4 million underserved people.", "notes": "", "can_create_projects": false, "enforce_program_projects": false, "use_project_roles": false, "public_iati_file": true, "enforce_2fa": false, "can_become_reporting": false, "iati_prefixes": null, "primary_location": 411, "content_owner": null, "original": null, "password_policy": null, "codelist": null, "internal_org_ids": [] }, { "id": 3020, "total_budgets": [], "recipient_org_budgets": [], "region_budgets": [], "country_budgets": [], "total_expenditures": [], "documents": [], "locations": [ { "id": 4941, "latitude": 52.078812, "longitude": 4.337329042, "city": "Den Haag", "state": "", "address_1": "Prinses Margrietplantsoen 37", "address_2": "", "postcode": "2595 AM", "iati_country": "NL", "country": 3, "location_target": 3020 } ], "logo": "https://storage.googleapis.com/akvo-rsr-production-media-files/cache/d7/03/d70352a4e4a47db65b54e522e04d96a6.jpg", "latitude": "52.078812", "longitude": "4.337329042", "city": "Den Haag", "current_user_permissions": { "can_create_iati_export": false, "can_edit_iati_export": false }, "created_at": "2015-09-14T11:35:52.687932+02:00", "last_modified_at": "2019-02-15T17:26:08.811002+01:00", "name": "NABC", "long_name": "Netherlands-African Business Council", "language": "en", "organisation_type": "C", "currency": "EUR", "new_organisation_type": 70, "iati_org_id": null, "url": "https://www.nabc.nl/en/", "facebook": "", "twitter": "", "linkedin": "", "phone": "+31 (0)70 304 3618 ", "mobile": "", "fax": "", "contact_person": "", "contact_email": "info@nabc.nl", "description": "NABC is the leading network organisation providing the platform for enhancing business between the Netherlands and Africa. The Network brings together 15 Associations which represent roughly 9000 local authorities, directly elected by more than 80 million citizens of this region. The NALAS Secretariat, based in Skopje, is responsible for the overall coordination and the implementation of the activities.\r\n\r\nNALAS was created in 2001 following the first Forum of Cities and Regions of South-East Europe (Skopje, November 2000), organised by the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe. The Network was established under the auspices of the Stability Pact for South Eastern Europe (Working Table 1) and the Council of Europe. During the first years, NALAS functioned as an informal organisation with regular meetings, seminars and training programmes. In July 2005 NALAS became an officially registered association with its seat in Strasbourg. The NALAS Secretariat was established in March 2007.\r\n\r\nNALAS promotes the process of decentralisation in cooperation with central governments and international organisations, considering local self-government as a key issue in the current process of transition affecting the various countries in South-East Europe. NALAS builds partnerships in order to contribute to the reconciliation and stabilisation process in the region and henceforth contributes to the process of the European integration of the whole region.\r\n\r\nNALAS initiates and carries out regional initiatives for its members and helps the associations to become viable representatives of local authorities vis-а-vis central government. NALAS aims to provide services to local governments for the benefit of the citizens in the region and wishes to develop itself as the knowledge centre for local government development in South-East Europe, recognised among all relevant stakeholders.", "notes": "", "can_create_projects": false, "enforce_program_projects": false, "use_project_roles": false, "public_iati_file": true, "enforce_2fa": false, "can_become_reporting": false, "iati_prefixes": null, "primary_location": 413, "content_owner": null, "original": null, "password_policy": null, "codelist": null, "internal_org_ids": [] }, { "id": 904, "total_budgets": [], "recipient_org_budgets": [], "region_budgets": [], "country_budgets": [], "total_expenditures": [], "documents": [], "locations": [ { "id": 811, "latitude": 41.00113, "longitude": 71.6682, "city": "Namangan", "state": "", "address_1": "57, A.Rakhimov street", "address_2": "", "postcode": "", "iati_country": "UZ", "country": 19, "location_target": 904 } ], "logo": "https://storage.googleapis.com/akvo-rsr-production-media-files/cache/f7/79/f7795b533f17c4fd53080da5f6361aa7.jpg", "latitude": "41.00113", "longitude": "71.6682", "city": "Namangan", "current_user_permissions": { "can_create_iati_export": false, "can_edit_iati_export": false }, "created_at": "2012-11-06T14:41:55+01:00", "last_modified_at": "2015-02-26T13:56:58.734540+01:00", "name": "Namangan Khokimiyat", "long_name": "Khokimiyat (Local Administrative Office) of Namangan region", "language": "en", "organisation_type": "G", "currency": "EUR", "new_organisation_type": 10, "iati_org_id": null, "url": "http://namangan.uz/", "facebook": "", "twitter": "", "linkedin": "", "phone": " +(998) 69 2264901", "mobile": "", "fax": "+(998) 69 2266008", "contact_person": "", "contact_email": "info@namangan.uz ", "description": "The regional administrative office of the Government of Uzbekistan in the Namangan region, which covers its main city and 13 district khokimiyats. At the same time, ethnic rivalries continue to hinder development and disrupt lives. However, all this is beginning to change, thanks to a new movement based on community conservation\r\n\r\nHow NRT works\r\nNRT was established in 2004. Its mission is to develop resilient secure peace and conserve natural resources. It does this in a number of ways. It raises funds for the conservancies. It provides them with advice on how to manage their affairs. It supports a wide range of training and helps broker agreements between conservancies and investors. It also monitors performance, providing donors with a degree of oversight and quality assurance.\r\nNRT’s highest governing body is the Council of Elders. The chairs of the conservancies make up the majority, and are joined by institutional members representing county councils, local wildlife forums, the Kenya Wildlife Service and the private sector. The Council guides NRT policy and is responsible for drawing up the bylaws for its operation and administration. It also appoints eight of the 15-member Board of Directors, to whom the chief executive officer is answerable.\r\nNRT is now widely seen as a model of how to support community conservancies. Its success has helped shape new government regulations on establishing, registering and managing community conservancies in Kenya.\r\n\r\nThe role of community conservancies \r\nBy the end of 2014, 27 community conservancies, operating under the umbrella of the Northern Rangelands Trust (NRT), were managing over 30,000 km² of land and safeguarding the future of a wide range of species, from elephant to Grevy’s zebra, from the endangered hirola to rhinoceros. With more than 60% of Kenya’s wildlife living outside formally protected areas, community conservancies will assume ever greater importance.\r\n\r\nImpact on Wildlife, Environment and Livelihood\r\n\r\nThe conservancies have brought about significant improvements in rangeland management and helped to stabilize, and frequently increase, wildlife populations. The area of land with significant biodiversity under improved conservation management increased from 5,400 km² in 2008 to over 27,400 km² in 2013. Conservancy rangers, supported by NRT, are play¬ing a significant role in tackling ivory poaching and other wild¬life crimes. Just as importantly, the conservancies have helped to bring peace and security to areas which have been plagued by violent conflict. \r\nWith the help of NRT, the conservancies created over 800 per¬manent jobs, and a further 830 casual jobs, in 2013, and im¬proved the welfare of a significant proportion of the 320,000 people whom they serve. They have generated millions of dol¬lars of investment, brought much-needed services to remote areas – for example, over 1,810 young people benefited from school and university bursaries in 2013 – and helped to change the mindsets of marginalized communities, who are now in¬creasingly willing to take charge of their own destinies.\r\n", "notes": "", "can_create_projects": false, "enforce_program_projects": false, "use_project_roles": false, "public_iati_file": true, "enforce_2fa": false, "can_become_reporting": true, "iati_prefixes": null, "primary_location": 2612, "content_owner": null, "original": null, "password_policy": null, "codelist": null, "internal_org_ids": [] }, { "id": 1207, "total_budgets": [], "recipient_org_budgets": [], "region_budgets": [], "country_budgets": [], "total_expenditures": [], "documents": [], "locations": [], "logo": "https://storage.googleapis.com/akvo-rsr-production-media-files/cache/7b/52/7b527bfa1788f9c173362d33d6b127b4.jpg", "current_user_permissions": { "can_create_iati_export": false, "can_edit_iati_export": false }, "created_at": "2013-06-18T11:07:39+02:00", "last_modified_at": "2015-02-26T13:56:58.653056+01:00", "name": "NWB Fonds", "long_name": "Nederlandse Waterschapsbank Fonds", "language": "en", "organisation_type": "G", "currency": "EUR", "new_organisation_type": 10, "iati_org_id": null, "url": "http://www.nwbfonds.nl/index.html", "facebook": "", "twitter": "", "linkedin": "", "phone": "0703519751", "mobile": "", "fax": "", "contact_person": "", "contact_email": "info@nwbfonds.nl", "description": "Het NWB Fonds is een geschenk van de Nederlandse Waterschapsbank NV (NWB bank) aan de waterschappen.", "notes": "", "can_create_projects": false, "enforce_program_projects": false, "use_project_roles": false, "public_iati_file": true, "enforce_2fa": false, "can_become_reporting": false, "iati_prefixes": null, "primary_location": null, "content_owner": null, "original": null, "password_policy": null, "codelist": null, "internal_org_ids": [] }, { "id": 1686, "total_budgets": [], "recipient_org_budgets": [], "region_budgets": [], "country_budgets": [], "total_expenditures": [], "documents": [], "locations": [ { "id": 2924, "latitude": 0.0, "longitude": 0.0, "city": "", "state": "", "address_1": "", "address_2": "", "postcode": "", "iati_country": "NL", "country": 3, "location_target": 1686 } ], "logo": "https://storage.googleapis.com/akvo-rsr-production-media-files/cache/70/4c/704c1596273212d5b93054668db671f3.jpg", "latitude": "0.0", "longitude": "0.0", "city": "", "current_user_permissions": { "can_create_iati_export": false, "can_edit_iati_export": false }, "created_at": "2013-09-17T18:51:49+02:00", "last_modified_at": "2019-02-15T16:54:40.871887+01:00", "name": "NWP", "long_name": "Netherlands Water Partnership", "language": "en", "organisation_type": "N", "currency": "EUR", "new_organisation_type": 22, "iati_org_id": "NL-KVK-27186453", "url": "https://www.netherlandswaterpartnership.com/", "facebook": "", "twitter": "", "linkedin": "", "phone": "070 304 3700", "mobile": "", "fax": "070 304 3737", "contact_person": "", "contact_email": "info@nwp.nl", "description": "Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP) is hét netwerk voor meer impact in het buitenland. 200 partijen hebben zich aangesloten vanuit de overtuiging dat een sterke, samenwerkende watersector tot meer internationale kansen leidt.
