We began our work in 2005 with the financial support from ICCO in the Netherlands. \r\n\r\nCurrently, we have 32 full time staff and 109 teachers and 7 volunteers.\r\n\r\nBKAF is the largest alliance of adolescent girls in Bangladesh with more than half a million members and supporters. PHREB initiatated BKAF in 2005 with an aim to empower adolescent girls to speak out, demand and access their human rights by improving their self-esteem, life-skills and leadership and focusing on the issues of sexual and reprodutive health and rights and violence against girls and women.
