Refugees from Syria are the biggest refugee population from a single conflict in a generation, with over 5.6 million having fled to neighbouring countries. Lebanon, with close to 1 million registered Syrian refugees, and Jordan, with 650,000, host the largest numbers of registered refugees per capita in the world.\r\n\r\nTurkey hosts the largest number of refugees in the world, 3.5 million. Iraq and Egypt host large numbers of Syrian refugees along with refugees from many other countries, and on top of the estimated 1.9 million Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in the case of Iraq. The EU is the leading donor in the international response to the Syrian crisis, with more than €10.8 billion collectively mobilised in aid from the EU and Member States since 2011.\r\n\r\nGovernance\r\n\r\nThe EU Regional Trust Fund has two governing bodies: a Trust Fund Board, which establishes and reviews the overall strategy of the Trust Fund; and an Operational Board, which decides on the allocation of funds to individual Actions.\r\n\r\nThe composition and voting rights of both bodies are detailed in the Trust Fund's Constitutive Agreement.\r\n\r\nThe Trust Fund\r\n\r\nThe EU Regional Trust Fund in Response to the Syrian Crisis pools an increasing share of the EU's aid to the region into one single and flexible instrument. The Fund primarily addresses educational, economic and social needs of Syrian refugees while also supporting overstretched local communities and their administrations. The Trust Fund is a key instrument for the delivery of the EU's pledges made at the London conference on Syria in 2016 and the Brussels conferences on the Future of Syria and the Region in April 2017 and April 2018. The Health Commission operates within the field of HBC in terms of HIV prevention, care and support interventions based on the principles developed under the umbrella of ECM Home Based Care projects. Its vision is to have a healthy Society that is able to access improved and affordable Health Services. It identifies itself by a mission which is continuation of the healing ministry of Jesus Christ through promotion of human life by coordinating and providing affordable Health Services to rural and urban areas in Malawi. As such Health Commission is also responsible for facilitating and monitoring the quality of Health services in the diocese. The Commission works with Community Based Organisations (CBO) to reach out to the needy people in various communities within its parishes. Consequently, the implementation of interventions in HBC depends greatly on the role played by community volunteers that are closely working with the immediate caregivers. Therefore, the support the church is providing to the community groups has helped and encouraged communities to respond positively in caring and supporting the HBC clients within the respective communities. During the last three years with support from Cordaid, the Commission has a record of success stories in issues of mobilisation of community volunteers such that it has created a good network of volunteers and the health facilities within its catchment areas. percent increase in number of children treated for severe malnutrition since the same period last year.\r\nWorld Vision has stepped up its operations in and around Juba and has also continued to
