The rally took place at the Community Center Tokoin in Lome and saw great participation of deaf persons, composed largely of former students of the School for the Deaf Ephphatha Togo. Thereafter, they voted an Executive Board at a general meeting March 8, 1992.\r\n\r\nAs the name suggests, the Association for the Deaf of Togo is an association that addresses the needs of the Deaf living in Togolese territory.
