This included a particular emphasis on assisting women with disabilities aspiring to run or be nominated for political office with special training and with linking them to other institutions..\r\nUDPK examined election-related policies, and met with political parties, to ensure they helped enhance the participation of people with disabilities. Our program Coordinators have been exposed and their capacities continuously enhanced through capacity building courses including; Peace Building and Conflict Resolution, Early Childhood Development, Guiding and Counseling, Leadership and Development, and financial management\r\n\r\nTYSA has many ways it which it finances its activities and programs. The community where we work has been mobilized to own the programs and therefore offer vital support including human resources, in kind donations and facilities to be used in the projects. TYSA has mobilized large base of local volunteers who give their time back to the community. TYSA has mobilized on line fundraising through Globalgiving, United (streetfootballworld) which supplement community efforts.
