De stichting werkt hiervoor samen met organisaties en instellingen vanuit het particulier initiatief, ngo’s en gemeentelijke overheid in zowel Leiden als in Buffalo City. \r\nNaast breed opgezette activiteiten en voorlichting vinden projectgerichte activiteiten plaats via werkgroepen.\r\n • Naast activiteiten op het gebied van draagvlakversterking en voorlichting organiseert de stichting een scholenproject: scholen in Leiden en Buffalo City zijn met elkaar een twinning aangegaan. \r\n• De leden van het bestuur waren allen op een of andere manier betrokken bij de 3 gemeentelijke projecten die Leiden met Buffalo City de afgelopen jaren heeft gedaan (stormwater, waste en HIV/Aids). Deze projecten werden gefinancierd door VNG in het Logo South programma. De verantwoordelijkheid voor het HIV/Aidsproject (2003-2010) was opgedragen aan het bestuur van de stichting. De 3 grote VNG-projecten zijn eind 2010 afgesloten.
