The company was incorporated in 2013 with registration number CS160222013 and started only commodity aggregation. In 2016 Tamanaa ventured into rice processing and today is processing parboiled rice for the Ghanaian market. \n\n Raw materials (paddy rice) mainly comes from smallholder farmers in four districts within the catchment areas of the company. The farmers are organized into groups, but contracts are undertaken with individual farmers by Tamanaa. Women processors are equally organized in groups and engaged with written contractual agreements with the company for their services in rice par boiling.",

"description": "Tabora Development Foundation Trust (Non-profit making organisation) was founded in the year 2001 by a group of development practitioners to respond to the development needs of rural and urban population of Tabora region. In terms of the organization, TDFT is governed by a board of trustees comprising of five members and a small secretariat of three permanent staff supported by an advisor working on full time basis.

We understand that a holistic approach is necessary and we now address a broad spectrum of environment and people-centred issues - from forest, water and land rights, livelihoods and mining issues, to climate change and disaster risk reduction.\r\n\r\nOur proactive and informed approach has brought us acclaim and transformed lives in Odisha; our grassroots interventions, research and expertise informs our policy-level work, where we raise the debate and seek to influence key decision-making to bring benefits to the communities we aim to help.\r\n\r\nThe principle underlying our operations is that the appropriate management of natural resources is necessary to address current development problems in a lasting manner, and that the local communities - with their traditional knowledge and stakeholder interest - are the best managers of these resources.",

"description": "Although dance is very international and every culture has its own traditional dances, for most children around the world dancing remains just a dream. Parents rather want their children to earn money at young age, than letting them enjoy their childhood. Giving them a chance to dance is a wonderful experience to escape from the hard reality of life. \r\nWe want to give children around the world a fabulous time they will never forget! Chance to Dance aims at dance performance projects in different countries where children are in disadvantaged situations. We emphasize that it is necessary to work for at least one month with a group of children. Starting with playful basic dance classes, we will work towards the final goal: a spectacular show for public at the end of the project. The size of the group can range from 20-80 children. The show will be as professional as possible, depending on the local situation. \r\nWe design and provide costumes for all the children, if possible in cooperation with local tailors We will arrange a stage, lights, a sound system and a great ambiance for the audience, also using local resources. The final show is a very important part of the project giving the children the unforgettable experience of achieving a goal. They will have to remember and combine all the movements, counts, orders, musicality and above this all the confidence to perform in front of an audience. The children will become stars for a moment! \r\nTo make this happen, the community plays an important role. We involve as many people as possible. Teachers, parents and local craftsmen can help us with costumes, lights, sound, building of stage, catering and much more. This way a Chance to Dance project will not only give the children but the whole community an experience never to forget!",

Since 2004, TLMI expended its focus to include other types of disability other than leprosy to enable person with disabilities to be included into mainstream development programes.\r\n\r\nPeople disadvantaged by leprosy and other disabilities will be able to participate in the social economic life of their communities as equally valued members, able to realize their rights to mobility, economic self-sustainability and possesion utilization of valuable skills.",
