SafiSana (Safi Sana Holding BV)

Safi Sana Holding BV was founded in 2010 as an initiative of Aqua for All Foundation, Rabobank, Shell and DHV. The holding company is 100% owner of Safi Sana Ghana Limited, which is the local Ghanaian company responsible for the implementation of the project in Ghana.

Safi Sana has built expertise on how to turn waste into valuable end products while at the same time providing improved sanitation services. In the future we will further build on that knowledge in order to improve the technical processes and also make the model fit into changing environments. Safi Sana Holding BV is a franchise organisation that intends to partner with (local) governments, the local enterprises and NGO’s.
