Festival sur le Niger (Fondation Festival sur le Niger)

Since 2005, the 'Festival sur le Niger' is organised each year in Ségou, Mali. The Festival is a true multidisciplinary event, offing a program of music, dance, theater, art exhibitions, discussion forums, conferences and more. It’s a festival where contemporary culture exists alongside ancient tradition and international music stars play alongside fresh young talent.

The festival is organised by the Fondation Festival sur le Niger, which is connected to the Association des Hôteliers et Restaurateurs pour le Tourisme à Ségou, a local organisation in Ségou which aims to inscrease the development of tourism in the region. It is led by its president, Mamou Daffé.
