The Malian Association of Awakening to Sustainable Development (AMEDD) is a non-governmental organization Malian law. Its overall objective is to promote the improvement of living conditions of the population and, by its actions, is located in the plane of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

For over 15 years, AMEDD accompanies the dynamics of the actors through the building of local expertise, support inter-stakeholder dialogue and contribution to the financing of social and productive projects.
AMEDD was established in 1998 and operates in Koutiala in the region of Sikasso. Its core areas of expertise include natural resource management (NRM); value chain development; rural land tenure; food security and nutrition; agroforestry; and capacity development. AMEDD will lead the implementation of WPs 1‐3 and WP 6 in five targeted subcatchments (Sorobasso, Zanfigué, Kiffosso, Menamba and Koumbia) in the districts of Yorosso and Koutiala in the region of Sikasso.
