The Luang Nam Tha Teacher Training College serves students from the Luang Nam Tha Province as well as three neighbouring provinces – Oudomxay, Bokeo and Phongsali. There are four different teacher training programs available to students, and students are able to graduate as primary or secondary school teachers. The College has just over 1000 students, with many of them living in on campus accommodation.
The Luang Nam Tha Teacher Training School (TTS) is situated in remote Northern Laos, close to the stunning Nam Ha protected area. It is nearby the Golden Triangle region – approximately 58 km from China and 100 km from Myanmar. The TTS is the only teacher training institution in far northern Laos.
