Sole trading consultant (and Associate to Nexus Heritage) in public archaeology, heritage interpretation and archaeological education. Don Henson is able to provide advice, advocacy, policy development, assessment, curriculum and activity development, and devise outreach and educational strategies. Don Henson was Head of Education at the Council for British Archaeology for 17 years until 2011. He is currently a judge for the Sandford Heritage Education Awards, a member of the Historic Houses Learning Advisory Panel, the National Trust Learning and Engagement Panel, and Honorary Director of the Centre for Audio-Visual Study and Practice in Archaeology at the University College London Institute of Archaeology. He also teaches on various BA and MA programmes throughout the UK, and has supervised and examined postgraduate students. He has published numerous articles and books, and made many conference presentations.
