IDE Ethiopia is working to enable rural prosperity in Ethiopia through the development of affordable irrigation technologies and improved access to market centers.
Small-plot farmers in Ethiopia face a number of challenges in realizing adequate income from their crops. IDE tries to help farmers with these issues.
A technology, development & design team works to create low-cost irrigation technology that makes affordable irrigation a reality for small-plot farmers.
IDE supply chain facilitation work is focused on establishing a reliable network of input farming suppliers and improving connections between small-plot farmers and output markets where they sell their goods.
