Christian Service Society (Christian Service Society (CSS))

CSS is a humanitarian development organization in Bangladesh, founded in 1972 by Rev. Paul Munshi. Presently, it is working in eighteen districts of four divisions, having served more than 26 million people. We are one of the renowned and oldest of over thousand NGOs working in Bangladesh. The Head Office of CSS is located in Khulna and CSS has the largest intervention areas here. CSS is dedicated to bringing change for the betterment of the poor and marginalized people by alleviating poverty and developing the socio-economic condition of the country. Presently, CSS is operating multi-sectoral programs and projects to augment its services to the poor in a comprehensive manner. The interventions of CSS are mainly divided into two sectors-Economic Development Sector (EDS) and Social Development Sector (SDS). The Social Development Sector includes three sub-sectors; Education Sector, Health Sector and Special Sector. The interventions of CSS encompass a wide range of services including Service Delivery, Awareness Raising, advocacy and emergency response to any disaster situation thorough relief and rehabilitations.
