Contact information

World Vision began work in Kenya in 1974 during a time of severe drought and famine that affected most parts of the country. After helping to feed the hungry, World Vision then moved into longer-term community development activities and now works with communities in all eight provinces of Kenya.

At the start of the child sponsorship program, there were 2,000 sponsored children. This number has now grown to a total of 151,420 children in 61 Programme Areas. World Vision Kenya (WVK) currently has 14 grant projects spread across the country.

Our vision for every child, life in all its fullness.
Our prayer for every heart, the will to make it so.
