One of the most inspiring things about the work I am doing in conservation agriculture is seeing and hearing about how lives have actually been changed through it. There is nothing better than that. Farmers can reap more with smaller fields and don't require as much labor as with the traditional slash and burn method of farming. It is also so encouraging to see women being models for best practices of conservation agriculture.
This season, the rainfall has been been better than the past few years and it's been good to see how the crops are coming up. Can't wait for harvest time!!
