Cordaid Disaster Response

Details

Contact information

Disasters hit the poorest the hardest. They often live in the most dangerous locations and are most susceptible to natural disasters, such as floods or droughts. They are also the ones who will have to leave behind their homes, jobs and farmland when fleeing from acts of war. Often they do not have anything or anyone to fall back on.

Disasters affect structural development, destroying investments of years. This means that the most effective disaster response demands synergy between disaster risk reduction and humanitarian aid. Using our 100 years of experience, Cordaid connects emergency aid with sustainable development.

We work with communities and organisations to reduce the impact of disasters and be prepared when disasters do strike.

Cordaid is able to offer immediate help in the most remote areas of the world through our extensive network of partners.

Together with local communities and organisations, Cordaid works toward reducing the impacy of disasters.
