HADEFO (Hope Again Development Foundation)

To organize good qualified education for children and adults; especially for girls and woman. On the long term to improve their social-economical position. The region where Hadefo will work did suffer in 2003 from the rebel armee of the LRA. They did destroy many schools and captured schoolkids. Because of government policy since 1997, Education for All, there was a big influx of pupils. But because of the recent war also lack of good accomodations. So classes of 90 pupils are very common.
Since 2009 we did build in Soroti the Mama Teresa Primary and Nursery Boarding School and we did start with 7 classes for adult literacy (FAL Program) in 2 subcounties of Soroti.
For the next 19 month we want to complete the school and also to extend the FAL program with another 7 classes.
