Partners for Water

Partners for Water Programme:

“Partners for Water” is a programme that aims to strengthen the international position of the Dutch water sector by uniting forces (private sector, public sector, non-profit sector and knowledge institutes). Public private cooperation can give a powerful impulse to the water sector by developing innovative solutions for the world's water problems. The third programme runs from 2010 to 2015. The programme 'Partners for Water' is a joint initiative of six departments of the Government of the Netherlands:

Ministry of Transport, Water Management and Public Works (lead)
Ministry of Economic Affairs
Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including the Directorate General for International Cooperation
Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning and the Environment
Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Safety
The programme is implemented by NL EVD Internationaal - Agency for International Business and Cooperation, and the Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP).
