ISARD was formed in 1990 with an aim to empower people to mobilize available resources for living
standard improvement.
ISARD started its program form a single village in Sindhupalchowk which now works in six di_erent
Village Development Committee VDCs; 43 villages.
From 1993 International Council for Friends of Nepal,The Netherlands(ICFON) started supporting ISARD
and the process has continued since.
Social Awareness, Agriculture and Livestock, Education, Community Health, Environmental Awareness,
Infrastructure, Micro-_nance & Micro-credit are the programs run in the project.
