Plan Sweden is part of the international children's rights organization Plan with operations in 50 countries in Latin America, Africa and Asia. Plan Sweden started its operations in 1997 as an independent part of Plan International. Our office is located in Stockholm. In 2014, Plan worked in 86,676 communities with a total of 164.9 million inhabitants, of which 81.5 million are children. Our programs reach approximately as many girls as boys. Every year Plan invests the equivalent of three billion Swedish kronor in various development programs worldwide.
