Kerk in Actie

Kerk in Actie, Protestant Church in Action, is a church with two million members and over 1800 local Protestant parishes, in action for the immediate. Kerk in Actie supports projects in all parts of the world and on diverse themes. The Church in Action projects are divided into the following focus areas:
-Poverty in Netherlands
-Refugees and Human trafficking
-Caring Church
-Sustainable Living
-Disaster Relief
-Child Rights
Kerk in Actie connect worldwide communities, organizations and people who want to share what is given them. We do this by sharing stories of people and ensuring that people can meet. This can be on a Rural Diaconal day, a conference for deacons in Indonesia or through exchange visits. It supports worldwide communities and people working on signs of hope by strengthening capacity of local churches and partner organizations, such as training or exchange. Parishes and ZWO committees can come for advice, inspiration and materials to use in their own municipality.
