Centre for Alternatives for Victimised Women and Children (CAVWOC) is a social service organization formed in 1997 and was registered under the Trustees Incorporation Act of Malawi in 1998. It is affiliated to Council for Non-Governmental Organisations in Malawi (CONGOMA), NGO Board of Malawi, NGOGCN and the Human Rights Consultative Committee.

Vision
A society free from Gender Based Violence and all other forms of abuse against women and Children

Mission
To empower women and children who have been victimized. Enshrined in this, is the principle of promoting women’s and children’s rights and achievement of gender equality regardless of one’s ethnicity, race, religion, sexuality and sexual orientation.
