The main objective of the Mountain Rescue Service is to assist and rescue in the mountains, on the rocks, in the caves and on the other unapproachable places where rescuing requires application of special knowledge and equipment.
Mountain Rescue Service of Montenegro consists of alpinists, speleologists, mountaineers, skiers, doctors and pilots who have completed the complex trainings for rescue people in the mountains and trained for all mountain rescue techniques, including the rescue with helicopter and search on unapproachable terrains.
