Arthacharya Foundation (AF) is a national NGO and operates 10 districts in the country. Microfinance is the main activity. The uniqueness of the AF is that envionment conservation as an entry point for poverty reduction. The organition is represented in many national and international forums such as the World Bank and ADB consultative committees on poverty and NGO affairs.

Misson: To develop and refine a replicable model of poverty alleviation in an environmantally sustainable manner through systematic mobilisation of the poor to build a microfinance culture and develop their livelihood assets.
