Cotelvo Limitada (Ltda) (Cooperativa Telefonica de Provision de Obras y Servicios Publicos)

Cotelvo Ltda is an solidary firm, with almost 50 years of trayectory, and offers a wide number of services: water and sewage, telephony, burial, internet, personal loans, tourism and a "orthopedic bank".
It was founded in 1962, for organize the public service of telephony in Villa Ocampo. In 1984 builded the potabilizadora plant, and begins the provision of water at the town. At the 90's Cotelvo incluided in their offer other new services: burial, alarms monitoring system and internet.
The great economic crisis in 2001 compel to Cotelvo to organize a personal loans's line for their associates (almost 4,000 people).
The last service incorporated are the sewage drains, since 2003.
This cooperative always was self-organized by democratic rules, through public meetings, social accountability and autorithies renovation.
Today the cooperative enjoys of a big recognition from their community, when is near their 50° anniversary. Their commitment toward all social classes, specially with the most vulnerables, implies one strong responsability, improving the quality of all services, and expanding it towards new needs.
